Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we process personal data when you use Nezabudni at myslimnateba.sk.

2. Data we process
We process account details (name, email, account ID, settings and time zone); information you save about loved ones (name, relationship, optional phone number, birthday, derived name day, custom events and reminder timing); and operational data needed to deliver reminders, push notifications and keep the service secure.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Account and reminder data is processed to provide the service and perform our contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security, abuse prevention and service reliability are based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Legal obligations are handled under Article 6(1)(c). We request consent only where specifically required.
4. Your loved ones’ data
You enter other people’s details. Store only what is necessary for personal reminders, ensure you have an appropriate reason to use it and respect their privacy. The service is not intended for bulk databases or marketing lists.
5. Recipients and providers
We mainly use Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and scheduled jobs), Resend (transactional email), device or browser push services and Websupport (domain and mailbox). Providers process only what their service requires. Appropriate contractual and legal safeguards apply to transfers outside the EEA.
6. Cookies and external services
We use only technically necessary cookies or similar storage for secure login and account operation. We currently use no advertising or analytics cookies. The WhatsApp button opens an external service with prepared text and number; you choose whether to send it, and Meta’s terms then apply.
7. Retention
We keep account data while the account exists. After deletion, active account data, contacts and reminder history are removed; technical backups or logs may remain for a limited period under provider retention rules or legal obligations.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Export and deletion are available in settings, or contact us by email. You may also complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority at dataprotection.gov.sk.
9. Security and changes
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transmission and separation of user data. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change.
